PA is once again planning a Spring Break Trip to China tentatively leaving March 19, 2025 and returning April 1. Follow the link to the itinerary below for details on the day-to-day activities. This trip will offer opportunities for students and parents to see some of the great cultural and historical sites of Beijing, Sanya, and Hong Kong. Included in the trip package are transportation, minimum of two meals per day on non-travel days, accommodations and most entry fees. We are estimating the cost per participant to be about $5500.
Beijing, China’s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Known as the Hawaii of China, Sanya’s miles of coastline, tropical climate, and upscale resorts make it a go-to beach destination for many travellers. But, it’s the city’s Buddhist temples, coconut plantations, fruit-sorbet stands, and fishing port that keep travellers coming back.
Hong Kong distinguishes itself from its Chinese brethren like Shanghai and Beijing with its vibrant, multifaceted culture and stunning cityscape. This British-Chinese hybrid astounds visitors with its striking juxtaposition of dense skyscrapers and lush landscapes. From sandy beaches to rugby pitches, there’s more fresh air than most travelers suspect.
