Progressive Academy is pleased to announce the pilot year of running three different weeks of music camps. These camps are an opportunity for students to play in an ensemble together, and learn a bit about how the contemporary music industry works. Students will be placed in a band on the first day, and have lots of opportunities for rehearsal throughout the week. Included in the week: band photos, a recording of their strongest tune, masterclasses led by the camp teachers, a field trip, and a guest masterclass led by a musician in the Edmonton music industry. The camp will end off with a performance opportunity as well. We are accepting students ranging from grade 1 to 12. Students should have had at least one year of private lessons on their instrument. 

**Please note that signing up does not guarantee you a spot. We may need to adjust the acceptance of students to ensure a successful camp that accommodates different age and instrument groupings. You will hear from Reinette (reinette@progressiveacademy.ca) with more information once you sign up.
