Returning Students

New Students

Fall Camp
Every fall, all of our students from Grade 4 and up pack up and head off to camp for three days! This year our Junior High and Senior High students will be at Pioneer Ranch in Rocky Mountain House from September 4th to 6th.
Attending camp at the start of the school year offers our students a unique opportunity to forge strong bonds with their peers, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. These camps help students develop essential communication and problem-solving skills, which are critical for success both in and out of the classroom. By engaging in team activities, students build trust and learn the value of working together towards common goals, creating a positive and supportive environment that can enhance their overall school experience. Attending camp is an important part of our program and sets our students up for a successful year.
General School Information
School Times
Junior High: 8:34 a.m. to 11:52 p.m.
Senior High: 11:20 a.m. to 3:34 p.m.

Uniforms
Progressive Academy is a uniform school! School uniforms promote a sense of equality among students, helping to create a more inclusive and focused learning environment. They also instill discipline and a sense of school identity, encouraging students to take pride in their appearance and their school.

Bus Schedule
10:40 a.m. Depart Silent Ice Arena for Progressive Academy (U17 and U18 teams)
12:00 p.m. Depart Progressive Academy for Silent Ice Arena (U14 and U15 teams)
Additional Bussing
While we do run bussing to and from school, our routes our limited. Please complete the 2024-25 Bus Form or email bus@progressiveacademy.ca for more information. There is a fee for this service.
